Terms of Service

Last updated: August 16, 2026

These terms govern your use of ClearHR, the HR and payroll platform for Singapore businesses. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. The service

ClearHR provides payroll, attendance, leave, claims, PWM compliance, KET document management and IR8A tax-filing tools. It is provided "as is" for business use.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the data you enter. Each account is tied to one business. You must not share admin access outside your organisation.

3. Subscription and payment

ClearHR starts at SGD 180 per month depending on team size (five bands from 1-20 up to 201-500 staff), all features included. There are no per-employee fees or hidden add-ons. Billing is monthly and you may cancel anytime from your dashboard — no contracts, no minimum commitment.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ClearHR to:

5. Data and privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data, and we only share it where the law requires (for example, CPF and IR8A filings).

6. Accuracy of compliance output

ClearHR calculates payroll, CPF, SDL, SHG and PWM figures using current published rates. Because statutory rates [government-mandated contribution amounts] change from time to time, you are responsible for reviewing figures before filing. ClearHR is a tool to help you comply — it does not replace your own legal or accounting advice.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearHR's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses [knock-on losses such as lost revenue] arising from use of the service.

8. Termination

You may stop using ClearHR at any time. On termination, you can export your data, and we will delete it in line with our Privacy Policy and statutory record-keeping requirements.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material [significant], we will notify you by email before it takes effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
